Welcome to the AJA Performing Arts Program! At AJA, students from Grades 2 to 12 immerse themselves in a vibrant world of creativity, embracing acting, singing, dancing, and technical theater arts. Our theater season offers enriching experiences that not only hone skills but also foster self-confidence and ignite new passions. We use the multiple voices singing method in our co-ed musicals as a way to engage and lift up all the participating students!

Our multiple voices method is a cornerstone of our training approach, enabling all students to participate in ensemble singing and harmonize their voices seamlessly. By employing this method, we not only maximize stage opportunities for every student but also craft poignant musical moments that transcend the bounds of a solo performance.

This collaborative approach not only enhances vocal skills but also fosters a sense of camaraderie and teamwork among students. Through shared learning experiences, students not only grow as individual performers but also emerge as leaders, guiding and supporting each other through the intricacies of each song.

Join us at AJA Performing Arts, where every student has the opportunity to shine and create unforgettable moments on stage.

Meet our Director of Arts, Breit Katz, the guiding force behind our performing arts department.

With a strong educational ethos, Breit fosters an environment where students thrive both on and off the stage, setting ambitious goals for their holistic development. Armed with a Bachelor's in Technical Theatre Design and Production and a Master's in Puppetry Arts, Breit brings a unique blend of expertise to the table. Encouraging students to take ownership of their performances, Breit empowers them to craft unforgettable moments and collaborative experiences.

"I want every student to walk into the theatre feeling capable and empowered, even when faced with challenges," Breit emphasizes. "Mistakes are not setbacks but stepping stones for growth. It's about fostering a mindset where failures are seen as opportunities for innovation and creative problem-solving." Under Breit's guidance, students learn to navigate the stage with confidence, embracing teamwork and resilience as they embark on their artistic journey.
