Liel Dar studied at Yeshivat Nahar-Dea in Nahariya, Israel, where he developed a passion for sharing his love of learning with others. He began teaching soldiers in the IDF who were interested in converting to Judaism or becoming more religious. These students came from various army units and locations throughout Israel. Over the past few years, Liel has taught thousands of soldiers about Halacha (Jewish law), including topics such as keeping kosher, reciting brachot (blessings), and tefilah (prayer). He also leads a weekly class at a synagogue in Haifa. Liel and his wife, Roni, are thrilled to join our AJA community as Shlichim, bringing their extensive knowledge and experience in army education to our students.
