Biography
Amanda is a native Atlantan and is excited to return to her roots. After graduating from GHA and Yeshiva Atlanta (before they merged to form AJA), she attended Stern College in New York, where she received a B.A. in Elementary Education. She then went on to complete a M.S. Ed. in Literacy at Bank Street College of Education. She began her teaching career in 5th grade at Ben Porat Yosef in Paramus, New Jersey, and followed this with 7 years teaching 1st and 2nd grade at The Ramaz School in Manhattan. At Ramaz, she honed her skills in positive classroom management, high-level instruction, and meaningful teacher leadership. She is eager to be back at her alma mater and walk the halls as a member of the faculty!
