Morah Dori comes to AJA from Berkeley, California where she lived for four years with her husband Josh and son Maayan and taught 4th Grade, Middle School Chumash and Judaic Studies at a K-8 Jewish Day School in Oakland, California. Before her journey out West, Morah Dori lived in Jerusalem and studied at the Pardes Institute, where she earned a master's degree in Jewish Education. She is a passionate teacher of Torah and believes that every child should explore their connection to this sacred text with critical thinking, a strong skill-set and their own personal creativity. When she isn't teaching, she loves spending time with her family, listening to music and making meaningful art based on Torah and prayer.
