Born in Romania, Morah Livnat made aliyah at 16 and served in the IDF for over three years. She obtained her B.A. in Linguistics and Education from Ben-Gurion University, a Conflict Resolution certificate from Cornell University, and an M.A. in Educational Leadership from Georgia State University. She has over 25 years of teaching experience in Grades 7 through 12 and was also the recipient of the Minister of Education Award for Excellence in Education. In the U.S., Morah Livnat was the Associate Dean of Students as well as Director of the Hebrew Lab at the American Hebrew Academy. After moving to Atlanta in 2010, she was the Hebrew Department Chair at The Weber School. At AJA, she is the Director of Hebrew Studies for 5th through 12th grades and the AP Coordinator.
