Ms. Bass is excited to have returned to AJA as a part of the 3rd Grade team. She previously worked as an assistant teacher in the 2nd Grade M’silot classroom. She began her teaching career in the Clayton County Public Schools system and most recently taught 2nd and 3rd Grade General Studies in a Jewish Montessori school. This is Ms. Bass's second year teaching 3rd Grade and her 5th year working with elementary students from 1st through 3rd Grade.

Ms. Bass received her undergraduate degree from Georgia State University and a certification in Education with a reading endorsement from the Georgia Teacher Academy of Preparation and Pedagogy. She believes in a whole-child approach to education and is dedicated to nurturing each student’s unique gifts and talents in a positive classroom atmosphere that is stimulating, safe and encouraging.
