About Rabbi Travis
Rabbi Reuven Travis received his Bachelor's Degree from Dartmouth College, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a double major in French Literature and Political Science. He earned his Masters of Judaic Studies from Spertus College and a Mmaster's of Teaching from Mercer University.
He received his Rabbinic Ordination from Rabbi Michael J. Broyde, Dean of the Atlanta Torah MiTzion Kollel, in the summer of 2006. After spending 15 years as an advertising and marketing executive, Rabbi Travis embraced a career as an educator. He has in the past worked both as a teacher and administrator, and his current teaching responsibilities at the AJA Upper School include Social Studies and Judaic Studies courses. He also serves as Faculty Advisor to the Israel Advocacy Club.
