About Lisa

Lisa Flicker is very excited to join AJA in mid September as our AJA SAIS Accreditation Coordinator.  She will also work with our Lower School and Middle School to develop an enrichment pathway for learning.  She had previously been an educator in Fulton County Schools for over 20 years, both in the elementary and middle school settings.

Lisa’s education experiences include earning her B.A. in International Affairs/Economics (University of Miami), M.Ed in Middle School Education (Brenau University), and Ed.S in Instructional Technology (KSU). During her years as an educator, she became National Board Certified, a National Faculty/Smithsonian Fellow, and presented at GaETC on technology integration in the classroom setting. She has always felt strongly about providing students with the tools necessary to achieve their goals through the individualized use of technology applications.

On a personal note, Lisa lives in Sandy Springs with her husband, Gary, and their daughter, Rachel, a Public Health major at the University of Alabama. She loves traveling and exploring and is grateful for the experiences and adventures she has had along the way.
