Shanna started her teaching career at GHA over 25 years ago and is excited to be returning to where it all began for her. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Judaic Language and Literature at Emory University and later obtained her Masters in Elementary Education at Oglethorpe University. Shanna also taught grades K-3 at The Epstein School where she helped develop the Kesher program and was most recently the Learning Specialist at K-6 Akiva School in Nashville. She believes that as educators, we should take the time to get to know our students and their passions. By embracing the special spark that each child brings to the classroom a rich and vibrant learning community is built.
