Young Women in STEM

Due to the temporary closure of Atlanta Jewish Academy and other schools in the community
because of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), this event will be postponed. New event date and start of the Jumpspark mentoring program will be determined at a later date.

DID YOU KNOW? Women make up nearly half of the working population, but only 26% work in STEM fields. (U.S. Census Bureau) AJA, with the support from the Atlanta Jewish Women’s Fund of Atlanta, is helping to level out the playing field in STEM careers for women.

AJA is a Proud Grantee Partner of Jewish Women's Fund of Atlanta. In partnership with SparkATL and the Weber School, we are creating programs to provide young women in the Atlanta Jewish community with the information and knowledge to pursue degrees and job opportunities in the STEM fields.

Our 2nd Annual Women in STEM Career Fair will be held Sunday, March 22 at AJA. All Jewish female 8th - 12th Graders in the Greater Atlanta area were invited to attend this free event. Take a glimpse at last year's schedule HERE!
