Jewish Community Professional Tuition Grant

A grant covering up to 50% of tuition at any of Atlanta’s Cognia or SAIS accredited Jewish high schools for the children of Jewish community professionals who meet specific criteria. The tuition grant is guaranteed for the duration of the child’s attendance at Atlanta Jewish Academy, The Weber School, or Temima, The Richard & Jean Katz High School for Girls. These grants are funded by members of the Atlanta Jewish Community with appreciation and gratitude for the many contributions these professionals make. Each school is allocated a pool that is distributed per capita to eligible students.

The tuition grant will continue for the 2023–2024 academic year for current and new Jewish high school students whose families meet the eligibility criteria. The grant will apply for the duration of the child’s attendance at one of Atlanta’s Cognia or SAIS accredited Jewish high schools.

Continuing in the 2023-2024 school year, children of full-time Jewish professionals (full-time employee at eligible Jewish non-profit organization) in Atlanta may be eligible for up to a 50% tuition reduction (excludes fees or other costs) for an Cognia or SAIS accredited Atlanta Jewish high school. The JCP Tuition Grant is guaranteed for the full duration of the child’s attendance at any participating, Cognia or SAIS accredited Atlanta Jewish high school. Continuation of this program beyond the initial two cohorts of students is yet to be determined. Participating high schools in the 2023-2024 school year are Atlanta Jewish Academy, The Weber School, and Temima, The Richard & Jean Katz High School for Girls.

A Jewish day school education is a proven leading indicator of a child’s Jewish involvement as an adult. Further, high school is considered one of the most formative periods in a child’s life. High school is when teens begin to grapple with identity, forge life-lasting friendships, and explore the relevance of Judaism and Jewish values to their lives. These Tuition Grants are funded by members of the Atlanta Jewish community in appreciation for the many contributions these professionals make to our community.

For the 2023-2024 school year, students must apply to and earn acceptance to one of the participating, SAIS or Cognia accredited Jewish high schools — Atlanta Jewish Academy, The Weber School, or Temima, The Richard & Jean Katz High School for Girls. If at least one parent is a full-time Jewish professional or educator, then the child may be eligible to receive the JCP High School Tuition Grant. Each school is allocated a pool that is distributed per capita to eligible students.

No. The child of any qualified Jewish professional is eligible to receive the Grant for attending an SAIS or SACS accredited Jewish high school, regardless of parental income.
