Jewish Community Professional Tuition Grant

Children of full-time Jewish professionals (working minimum 32 hours/week) at an eligible Jewish non-profit organization in Atlanta may be eligible for up to a 50% tuition reduction (excludes fees and other costs) at participating Atlanta Jewish day schools, Atlanta
Jewish Academy, The Davis Academy, The Epstein School and Torah Day School of Atlanta (participating schools must be Cognia or SAIS accredited). The JCP Day School Tuition Grant is guaranteed for the duration of the child’s attendance in the division they are in when first becoming eligible (elementary or middle school).

A Jewish day school education is a proven leading indicator of a child’s Jewish involvement as an adult. These tuition grants are funded by members of the Atlanta Jewish community in appreciation for the many contributions these Jewish community professionals make.

Students must apply and earn acceptance to one of the participating Jewish day schools — Atlanta Jewish Academy, The Davis Academy, The Epstein School or Torah Day School of Atlanta (participating schools must be Cognia or SAIS accredited). If at least one parent is a full-time Jewish professional, clergy member, or educator, then the child may be eligible to receive the JCP Day School Tuition Grant. Each school is allocated a pool that is distributed per capita to eligible students.

No. The child of any qualified Jewish professional is eligible to receive the Grant for attending a participating Cognia or SAIS accredited Jewish day school, regardless of parental income.

Once a student begins receiving the Grant in elementary or middle school (“school division”), they are considered part of a JCP Grant cohort. The student remains part of the cohort through the student’s completion of the school division in which they were enrolled when they began receiving the JCP Grant, provided all eligibility criteria are met. Parents must submit documentation
semi-annually to their child’s school to re-verify employment eligibility. If a student receiving the JCP Grant completes elementary school and begins middle school, they may be eligible to be part of a new cohort if one is approved. Note: Cohorts have been approved to begin Fall 2024, 2025, and 2026.

Continuing in the 2023-2024 school year, children of full-time Jewish professionals (full-time employee at eligible Jewish non-profit organization) in Atlanta may be eligible for up to a 50% tuition reduction (excludes fees or other costs) for an Cognia or SAIS accredited Atlanta Jewish high school. The JCP Tuition Grant is guaranteed for the full duration of the child’s attendance at any participating, Cognia or SAIS accredited Atlanta Jewish high school. Continuation of this program beyond the initial two cohorts of students is yet to be determined. Participating high schools in the 2023-2024 school year are Atlanta Jewish Academy, The Weber School, and Temima, The Richard & Jean Katz High School for Girls.

High school is when teens begin to grapple with identity, forge life-lasting friendships, and explore the relevance of Judaism and Jewish values to their lives. These Tuition Grants are funded by members of the Atlanta Jewish community in appreciation for the many contributions these professionals make to our community.

For the 2023-2024 school year, students must apply to and earn acceptance to one of the participating, SAIS or Cognia accredited Jewish high schools — Atlanta Jewish Academy, The Weber School, or Temima, The Richard & Jean Katz High School for Girls. If at least one parent is a full-time Jewish professional or educator, then the child may be eligible to receive the JCP High School Tuition Grant. Each school is allocated a pool that is distributed per capita to eligible students.
